Orca Mechanical is proud to have contributed to the construction of the new commercial kitchen for Operation Sack Lunch (OSL), providing essential commercial kitchen equipment and installing a walk-in cooler. After 35 years of preparing meals in various hosted kitchens, OSL now has a dedicated kitchen space of its own. This nonprofit organization serves over 6,800 meals daily throughout Seattle and King County, partnering with more than 60 programs to feed those in need.

Commercial cooler installation in Bellingham
Walk-in freezer installation

The Lighthouse Mission in Bellingham recently began construction on their new facility, which is designed to offer up to 300 beds for the homeless and those in need. A major aspect of this project was the commercial kitchen installation. Orca Mechanical recently installed walk-in coolers and freezers on location. Proper refrigeration is vital any foodservice environment, but especially so in a facility that offers 24 hour services to those in need of the local community. Congratulations to Lighthouse Mission on the new facility!
